The Pavilion is a boutique accommodation in Phnom Penh. The main building was built in the mid-twenties, allegedly by Queen Kossamak, King Sihanouk's mother. Living here brought her closer to the Botum Royal Pagoda, where she often liked to go to pray. The architecture is an original combination of Khmer and French colonial styles. Coconut trees, jasmine and plumeria, amongst others, provide a incredible oasis atmosphere in the heart of the city. Platform-beds from Central Asia, with mattresses and cushions, for lazing in the sun or in the shade of the trees around the pool.
