Lao-Vietnamese-Thai cultural village built in Laos

 

The ground-breaking ceremony for building a Lao-Vietnamese-Thai cultural village has been held in Laos’ central province of Borikhamsay.

 

Mekong-Japan Exchange Year 2009 on eve of conclusion

 

Some 60 dancers from Japan and five countries in the Mekong River region, including Vietnam, joined in an art performance held in Tokyo in the framework of the Mekong-Japan Exchange Year 2009.

 

Photography exhibition marks Laos’ National Day

 

A photography exhibition was held in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on December 1 to mark the 34th anniversary of Laos’ National Day (December 2, 1975-2009).
